Centenary Park Sports Amenities

Inner West Council appointed J+CG Construction for the construction of Centenary Park Sports Amenities, located at 132 Church Street, Croydon.

The scope of works included the construction of a multipurpose building, park amenities, stairs and landscaping. The project was completed in 10 months with outstanding feedback. During the handover event J+CG Construction was congratulated and honoured with the presence of the Mayor of Inner West Council Lucille McKenna, with Richard Pearson, the Administrator who oversaw the amalgamation of the three councils to the Inner West Council and also Jodi McKay, Member for Strathfield, NSW Shadow Minister for Transport & NSW Shadow Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight, who was pleased to officially open the new facilities, and congratulated everyone involved.

J+CG Construction were honoured and happy to be a part of work that was for the benefit of the community and enjoyed sharing the handover event with the public. Through Centenary Park, J+CG has helped to build stronger, healthier, happier and safer communities through sport and recreation, as communities that participate in sport and recreation develop strong social bonds, are safer places and the people who live in them are generally healthier and happier than places where physical activity isn’t a priority.
